What is the shelf life of your dog treats and how do they need to be stored?
Just like your local bakery, we bake your dog treats fresh for your order to give you the best quality gourmet dog treats upon arrival. Our dog treats do not need to be refrigerated. However please take care not to leave treats decorated with carob or yogurt in high temperature conditions.

For general storage, a good "rule of thumb" is to store our dog treats how you would normally store your fresh baked cookies from your kitchen. Shelf life for most of our dog biscuit type bakery treats is 6-8 weeks and for softer dog treats such as doggie birthday cakes, dog cupcakes, dog brownies or cannoli is 3 weeks. We do not recommending storing treats in the refrigerator. However, you can freeze nicely to extend the shelf life for several months - but we guarantee they won't be around that long!

Do you use preservatives in your dog treats and are the ingredients safe for dogs?
All of our dog treats are baked fresh in our dog bakery using wholesome ingredients with no added preservatives, additives, sugar or salt. We use the finest quality baking ingredients, using only ingredients that are safe for your pet including treat decorations made with carob or yogurt (no chocolate is ever used). For specific ingredients used in each of our wholesome dog treats, go to the treat's item description in our online store where the ingredients are listed for each particular treat.

After I place an order, how long does it take to process my order and ship?
After placing your order online, it usually ships within 2 business days Monday - Friday.  During the Holidays, orders may take longer and please allow extra time for delivery. 

Keep in mind when determining shipping times, the day your items ship is not counted as a shipping day. If you need your order by a specific date, please allow for arrival a few days before your celebration or event! Once your order is placed, we can not change the shipping option for you.

Can I personalize a gourmet dog treat with my dog's name?
You can personalize our dog birthday bone cookie with your dog's name for FREE! Just write in the name you would like on the cookie in the comment section upon shopping cart checkout, maximum of ten letters. Our doggie birthday cakes also come with a customizable birthday label that you can write in the lucky dog's name for instant personalization!

How many dogs will the doggie birthday cakes serve?
Our small dog birthday cake comes with a small ball toy and is approximately 5 inches in diameter & 2.5 inches in height and will serve up to 4 slices of cake. Our large dog birthday cake comes with a large ball toy and is approximately 6 inches in diameter & 3.5 inches in height and will serve up to 8 slices of cake. Both dog cakes come in a designer box with a customizable birthday label. Dog birthday bone cookies are 8.5 inches in length by 4 inches wide. Please serve portion appropriate for your dog.

How far in advance should I buy a birthday cake from your dog bakery for my dog's birthday?
Depending on the date of your dog's birthday or party, please allow arrival a few days before your event or celebration. Our dog birthday cakes have a shelf life of 3 weeks. They can also be frozen, although not necessary, to preserve until your dog's big day!

Do you have other celebration cakes available?
Our dog treat bakery is always working on the new treats and cakes just for you and your pet! You can also customize our regular dog birthday bone cookie to your event or occasion. Just put your message in the comment section upon checkout, maximum of 10-15 letters per message. Some examples include: Congratulations, Best in Show, Way to Go Grad, Get Well Soon, Thank you, or New Baby.

Does your dog treat bakery offer gift options?
You can send a gift to a friend's dog or your dog's friends! All of our gourmet dog treats come in beautiful packaging which makes a nice gift presentation. If you would like to send a brief note with your gift, please include your message in the comment section upon checkout. We will include your personalized note with your gift recipient's order. And rest assured, we include a packing list with each order but no prices are listed on it for gift recipient viewing.
